Excellent analysis of the NFL divisional playoff games, Kyle. You called the winners and outcomes of all four games on 1/13, a day prior to each contest. Scoring-wise, you weren't too far off either. Very impressive. As for your previous posts, I especially appreciated your analysis of the MLB Hall of Fame player selection process. I'll check with Wikipedia but I doubt I'll find any references/links to the three camps of writers that'll inevitably be involved.

Keep up the great writing!

Yes, the NBA is in decline. Mostly this is because of the character and actions of the players. Rapists, criminals, and uneducated thugs. Tatoos and hip-hop. Lebron on SNL- IQ well under 90. Kobe and infedelity. The Pistons beating up fans. All overpaid.

Some of it is just the times, however. Free agency means players maintain a "me first" mentality, and the information age means sitting down to watch an entire basketball game isn't relevant anymore. I expect the decline to continue indefinately.

Cavs fans may rip on Phil Jackson for saying that he'd take Dwight Howard over LeBron, but I actually agree with Phil on this one given the fact that he already has Kobe.

BTW, C-Webb was very diplomatic during the post-game highlight of his former teammate blowing the game saving shot. :) Webber still seems out of place on the TNT team though.

I think we're just jaded Kings fans. Warriors fans are content to be entertained by their run 'n' gun style. Sac f'd up by not approving a new arena for the Kings. At least there would have been a cool place to hang out (e.g. AT&T Park) even if the team continued to suck by the time it would've been built.

I would think Kerry Collins should be in the mix as far as MVP's go. Helped turn turn the Titans into a Superbowl contender again. Kurt Warner should be considered a potential MVP also. Or at least comeback player of the year.

Good call with O'neal to Toronto, it should make them stronger torwards a playoff push. Maybe able to get past Olando if anything. What kind of team will the Pacers have now with no viable superstar on thier team. Another Sacramento Kings...

WHAT THE HELL! LAKERS????????? They won't even get past the first round. Does anyone remember the poor Colorado girl Kobe violated? KARMA! Nuggets will win in six. You are a disgrace to call yourself a Suns or Celts fan.
